Please see below for barge times from the mainland to Fraser Island as these must be advised at the time of booking. Please book your barge directly with the transfer company.
Barge Rainbow Beach to Fraser Island: The ferry runs continuously between the mainland and Fraser Island and takes approximately 15 minutes.
Briefing ex Rainbow Beach: Briefings take place at 7.00am, 8.00am, 11.00am and 12.00noon and take approximately 1 hour. Departure times are dependent on the tide times allowing beach access to Fraser Island. Safari 4WD will advise the recommended time for the customer to attend their briefing based on low tide times.
Maps and itineraries are provided with all 4x4 hires. The Branch is located in Rainbow Beach allowing convenient access to Fraser Island for customers.
Camping equipment hire is available separate, or as a package with your 4x4 hire. Insurance included in 4x4 hire rates, unlimited Klm's on Fraser Island.
